PLAINFIELD – State Senator Meg Loughran Cappel and Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant are partnering with the Plainfield Public Library and Plainfield Park District to host their annual pet expo.
“The pet expo is a fun opportunity for families to celebrate their four-legged friends,” said Loughran Cappel (D-Shorewood). “I encourage pet owners to stop by the pet expo, explore what the vendors have to offer, spoil your pup and spend the day outside with loved ones.”
The expo will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Clow Stephens Park, located at 16650 S. Lily Cache Road in Plainfield.
The free expo will showcase a variety of vendors including animal hospitals, animal rescues, artisan dog treats, pet clothing and therapy dogs. Additionally, there will be food trucks, giveaways and a pet parade at noon.
People can contact Loughran Cappel’s office at 815-267-6119 for additional information.
