PetExpo Sept

PLAINFIELD – Local residents are invited to attend a pet expo hosted by State Senator Meg Loughran Cappel, State Representative Natalie Manley, Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant and the Plainfield Park District on Sept. 30 in Plainfield.

“Pets are a part of our families,” said Loughran Cappel (D-Shorewood). “Join us for a fun, family-friendly event for people to bring their furry friends out to show them some love as they offer so much to us.”

The expo will be held on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Clow Stephens Dog Park, located at 16650 S. Lily Cache Rd. in Plainfield.

Families are encouraged to come and bring their pets for an array of photo opportunities, training demonstrations and other activities. Face painting and temporary tattoos will be available for kids, and many local pet businesses will have booths with unique pet products.

Contact Senator Loughran Cappel’s office at 815-267-6119 for additional information.
